Surgical Services: 

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures: spays and neuters, skin tumor removals, bladder stone removals, biopsies, and many other surgeries. Most of the patients are sent home the day of the procedure, but we can keep them overnight at your request.

Anesthesia: 

We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Every animal undergoing procedure requiring anesthesia is examined right before the procedure. Screening blood tests are performed before general anesthesia to make sure there are no underlying problems. Sedatives and pain medications are used prior to anesthesia to reduce post-operative discomfort and provide safer anesthesia. The intravenous catheter is placed to administer medications and fluids during the procedure to make it easier on the pets. During the anesthesia a dedicated veterinary nurse constantly monitors heart rate, electrocardiogram readings, breathing parameters, amount of oxygen in blood, amount of expired CO2 gas, blood pressure, and temperature during the entire procedure. Heat support is provided to all anesthetized patients. Our team makes sure the recovery is painless and smooth.
